A Guide to Barn Dance Bands and Ceilidh Bands

A barn dance is a chance for one and all to have a memorable and fun-filled event. A barn dance is great fun for the young and not so young! From the very nature of the dances it’s and ideal way to have all your guests mixing together, total strangers will soon become acquainted!

The meaning of the Gaelic “Ceilidh” (pronounced Kay-lee) was a gathering at which people sat around and talked, told stories, sang songs, played music and danced.
